How is the scheme managed?

To keep costs down SOFHT is not seeking UKAS approval for the scheme, however this does not stop us running it in a highly professional manner:

Board of Governors

  • Chaired by The SOFHT Vice-Chair and Technical Director
  • One additional SOFHT Director, one representative from Cert ID and two independent industry Governors
  • Technical Standard Committee, chaired by SOFHT Technical Director
  • Complaints Handling Procedure, SOFHT Governor and independent Governor
  • Appeals Process and Panel, chaired by independent industry expert (no SOFHT or Cert ID Governors)
