SOFHT & its scheme partners have taken all necessary technical & organisational steps to ensure the scheme remains secure. Access permissions have been carefully defined to ensure confidentiality.

When you log into your account you will begin your secure session, a padlock symbol will appear in your browser to as a visible indication of this. Any information submitted during the application process is encrypted before it leaves your PC so that no one else can read it. Whilst the data is in transit we use industry standard 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.

Should you not use your account for a specified period of time we will automatically log you out to prevent unauthorised use of your account - to remove this risk you are able to save your progress at any time and logout should you have to leave your PC.

Your account will also be locked should you fail to login correctly after three attempts - this prevents a user from trying to access your account through trial and error.
